I have kids, so... the fact that it's almost over!


 



Okay, okay. I'm kidding. Sort of. 
If I'm honest, I don't like summer. 
I do get why other people like it, it's just not my thing.
.
Why I don't like Summer...
1. I work at an amusement park and this is our busy season. 
2. The kids decided that tormenting each other was going to be their favorite activity.
3.The weather is terrible. It's always hot, humid, and often, raining.
(I like rain, but this rain is hot and does't get rid of the mugginess.) 
Bring on Fall!
(Edited after the fact: I may have been a bit grumpy when I wrote this.)

    I'm with you on the "it's almost over." The kids are ready to go back to school and I'm ready for them to go back, too. LOL

    I couldn't imagine working at an amusement park during the busy season.

    Fortunately/Unfortunately there were schedule conflicts with my husband and I so I ended up being weekends only this season. So it's not so bad.

    I don't know hats going on with the kids. They are 6.5 years apart. They so not have the same interests yet are determined to pick fights anyway!

    Whaha.. I love your honesty. And I can totally see why summer isn't your favorite season. I hope the rest of summer is good for you and fall will come soon ;)

      If I lived somewhere that wasn't a drained swamp (literally), I might enjoy it more, but I can't even sit outside without sweating!!

      Same. I have to drive my daughter to school so I don't even get to just wake her up and get her off to the bus leaving my son still sleeping. D:
      Oh well, I will be glad for her to go back to school. (And next school year when my son goes to kindergarten!)

    I can see why you wouldn't be a fan of summer working an at amusement part. So many people--probably many grouchy because of the crowds and heat . . .

      Oh, there are many reasons why people are grouchy. We've actually had kind of a slow year this year. (Even though I'm weekends only, I still come on the busiest days and I asked a few coworkers if it seemed there were less people coming in. The general consensus is yes. And it's probably the horrid heat/humidity and the excessive rain causing the issues.
