Bookish (and not so bookish!) Thoughts

Bookish and Not-So-Bookish Thoughts is a weekly blogging event hosted by Bookishly Boisterous. It allows book bloggers (and non-book bloggers) to write about pretty much anything, bookish or otherwise (i.e. share exciting plans for the weekend, rants on things they’ve encountered during the week, etc.).

1. Attempting to hard potty train my son this week. That sounds weird, but I don't know how else to describe it. My husband and I are a little more laid back. My daughter kind of potty trained herself when she was three. Very few accidents. (Like 3 or 4 TOTAL!). My son, however, is almost 5. It's been going better than I expected. Day 1 was ROUGH. Day 2 was better, but I had to spend all day watching him super closely because he couldn't tell when he had to go. Day 3, there was only one accident. Day 4... well, that remains to be seen. O_O

2. Finished my wreath. I half wonder if I shouldn't have added some pine needles and pine cones, but I'm happy with it.

I really need to get a good picture of it on the door.

3. My wedding anniversary is tomorrow. 12 years.

.~*Until next time. -Shannon

  1. Happy anniversary!

Ooh, potty training. I still remember how much I focused on it with the boys, who were harder to train, and especially harder to stay dry at night.

    My daughter trained herself, too.

    Great wreath!

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog. And thanks for the tip about Amazon Prime...LOL.

    1. My daughter walked up to me one morning and said she wanted to use the toilet. That was basically it! So different having to force a child to do it. O_O
Somehow, he has been staying dry at night for a WHILE. I still leave it on just in case because there have been a few times.

Thanks! *^-^* I'm not super into the traditional green and red of Christmas. I like icier colors for some reason. O_O (I'm not anti-red and green, it just feels very heavy for such a cozy time.)

Lol, You can tell I watch waaaaaaay too much TV.
