How many book clubs do you belong to? If you do belong to an in-person book club, do you have meetings in the day or evening? Do you meet at someone's house or meet at a local restaurant or coffee house?Elizabeth @Silver's Reviews
Nope.
My daughter's school has a parent book club. I was excited about it until I realized all the choices were religious books. (She goes to a private religious school.)
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but... pass. That's the closest I've gotten to joining a book club.

Oh bummer! I hope you find a better fit someday! :)
ReplyDeleteSame. One day, maybe.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Oh, I wouldn't want to join the book club at your daughter's school either. While I occasionally read religious themed books, I just can't imagine joining a book club that only focuses on those.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. - Katie
I don't mind religious themed books in terms of the human experience, this was just not for me.
DeleteI am definitely not knocking that book club. If people are reading and enjoying it, more power to them. I just had to pass.
I am debating on making a non-religious oriented one at the school, but I don't know. That is very much out of my comfort zone.
