A Week in the Life

.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.

My Crochet Along group is finally doing a pattern I want to do. The last several ones have been socks, shawls, and clutches. None of those would get used so I've been skipping. This month is a big purse and I've been wanting something new.

Spring break didn't go exactly as planned. We weren't planning on much, but had hoped to watch A Series of Unfortunate Events.
My daughter was very sick on Monday. She's better now, but it was pretty scary. This threw most of the week off.
My husband ended up working really late on Tuesday. Wednesday my daughter ended up going to a sleepover that turned into two nights! And I have to work the weekend. O_O

  1. Sorry to hear about your daughter being sick! That definitely can throw off a spring break week. And I've seen A series of Unfortunate Events (on Netflix I think?) but haven't watched it... hope you get to check it out soon!

Hope you have a great week.

    1. She's better now, thankfully, but it definitely threw out the small amount of plans we did have.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. A crochet group sounds fun! Although, I see how having to crochet patterns you don't enjoy could be an issue.

    1. It's through Happily Hooked Magazine. I joined the group prior to participating and ended up subscribing to the magazine because it's such a positive group!

There's no obligation to participate, but I do like seeing everyone's choices and interpretations of the same pattern.

They try to rotate the various types of projects so everyone's interests get covered and people try things outside their comfort zone. Last month's was a shawl and I guess I could have participated, but made it a blanket or something. I'm just not sure I have anyone who wants a blanket!

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. My mother has been trying to teach to crochet, but I'm not very good at it. But I wish I was. Good luck with the purse.

I'm sorry about your daughter being sick. I hope she is feeling much better.

    Happy readings! ;)
