Life
.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.Friday was the husband's BIG appointment to find out if he can go back to work or not.
He goes back tomorrow!
Had some stuff come up at the apartment and got to spend all of Monday and Tuesday dealing with it. :/ I wish we were out already, but we aren't officially out until the 30th. Bleh.
We did, however, get most of our stuff out then and Saturday, so that's something. Just waiting to turn the keys in next weekend. #sooverit
My son's mouth finally healed and he is able to eat "crunchy" food again.
My house is now filled with boxes. Unsorted boxes.

The State of the Blog
.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.As per above... things came up Monday and Tuesday (which is when I had planned to do the bulk of my ahead blogging) and ... no memes on Tuesday. :(
Good news is that I am all caught up and ready for next week!
Came across a couple read-a-thons. May do one, not sure yet. They are slated for October, which is mostly good because finally all this stuff that piled up on me this summer will be over and I should be able to relax a bit more.

Watching
.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.~*.*~.
Forever
I liked it, but it was weird.
The previews didn't really do a whole lot to show what the show was about and it was completely unexpected. Let me just say that it's not just a sitcom.
Well worth the watch, just make sure to watch at least the first 2 episodes before bailing.

Oh, the thought of moving is terrifying...but also exciting when I think of a fresh canvas to explore. A clean canvas! LOL. I'll think about it later. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI will check out Forever. I was happy to find an unexpectedly engaging show on Netflix this week (Sisters).
Thanks for visiting my blog.
We are not planning on moving ever again. ^^; It's a little bittersweet because I've only ever lived in temporary homes. (Military brat + apartments after that).
DeleteI'm hesitant to give a full review because I went in completely blind and it was nothing at all what I was expecting.
Thanks for stopping by!
Moving is such a pain. I hope everything goes well! Just a few more days . . . And yay for your husband being able to go back to work tomorrow! I am glad your son's mouth is doing so much better as well. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have been moving for TWO MONTHS! I hate it so much. I'm almost willing to just let the apartment complex have it! (Not literally, but I am so tired of getting things from there... and adding to the boxes.)
DeleteI'm glad it's better too. Not out of the woods yet, but he's able to eat crunchy things again (within limits) so he can have his favorites again.
Thanks for stopping by!
Nice to hear your son has healed and yeah to your husband going back to work. Not so yeah that you have all of that unpacking to do! Have fun settling into your new nest:)
ReplyDeleteIt has been a long 3 months with the husband out of work. O_O
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Glad your husband was able to go back to work. Sorry your house is in a bit of chaos, though. :-)

Moving is definitely pain. I moved in this new city in December and in a few months I have to move again. Though it is tiring, it is fun to explore the new surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI am glad your son has healed and that your husband is goign to work again.
Have a lovely week and happy reading!

Good luck with the moving! It's o not fun but at least you'll be done soon, hopefully? And then can relax a little maybe. Glad your son is feeling better too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Good luck with the move Shannon. I've moved a lot and it never gets any easier if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking into a view readathons myself. I think I'll go with the HoHoHo Readathon. I always like that one. ;)
Oh I don't envy you moving! That's one of those endless tasks. I think I was finding packed boxes for months after we moved. I've sworn never to move again but we'll see how that goes! Glad your son can eat crunchy foods again! I'm sure that's made life so much easier for everyone! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with moving, Shannon! It's a pain, but sometimes it's worth the new adventure. ☺️ I'm glad your husband is able to go back to work and your son is feeling better!
